Our Private Hosted Experiences offer a more personal and flexible way to explore New Zealand’s Southern Lakes.
With your own dedicated host and guide for either a half or full day, we curate each journey around your interests, pace and style of travel — creating an experience that feels less like a tour, and more like a thoughtfully hosted day in the region.
One day may include wandering lesser-known walking tracks such as Bob’s Cove or Lake Alta, pausing beside glacial rivers and native beech forest along the way. Another may follow the stories and landscapes of Middle-earth through iconic filming locations, before finishing with a long lunch or wine tasting overlooking the vines of Gibbston Valley or Ayrburn.
For others, the experience may simply be about slowing down — allowing space for conversation, photography, beautiful scenery and meaningful moments without the feeling of being rushed from place to place.
